Student Placements
We understand that qualifications are very important however these can only be as good as the experiences you have had looking after, and being with children.
We are committed to providing long and short term work experience placements for students undertaking a relevant childcare course.
Whilst here, we endeavour to provide them with valuable experience and knowledge to enable them to be the best child carers they can be. Please contact our Manager Kasey Metters for further details.
Current Vacancies
Deputy Manager (Maternity cover – 12 month contract)
Successful candidates will:
- have previous supervisory experience, ideally in a position of Deputy Manager
- be able to support the professional development of the staff team
- have a good knowledge of the new EYFS including the statutory requirements
- hold a relevant recognised Level 3 qualification or above
- be enthusiastic, upbeat and positive
- have excellent communication skills with children, colleagues, parents and external agencies
- understand the importance of working very closely with our families to support children’s development and well-being
- be able to work very closely with other people within a small team
- have experience of working with children with SEN
- have a desire to join a hardworking, dedicated and enthusiastic team who are always prepared to go the extra mile
Nursery Nurse (Full-time, Part-time and supply positions)
Successful candidates will:
- have previous experience of working with under 5’s
- have a good knowledge of the new EYFS including the statutory requirements
- hold a relevant recognised Level 3 qualification or above
- will have experience of planning for children on an individual basis to support each child’s specific developmental needs
- be enthusiastic, upbeat and positive
- have excellent communication skills with children, colleagues, parents and external agencies
- understand the importance of working very closely with our families to support children’s development and well-being
- be able to work very closely with other people within a small team
- have experience of working with children with SEN
- have a desire to join a hardworking, dedicated and enthusiastic team who are always prepared to go the extra mile
