At Small Wonders we love clean plates.
That's why we've taken the best recipes we can find and added a few of our own to provide a balanced menu which changes weekly so our little ones can recharge their batteries without getting bored of the same old food.
We have been working with the Nippers Nutrition Programme to get some expert advice about nutrition and balanced diets. In December 2012 our efforts were rewarded with Level 4 status.
We've taken inspiration from Annabel Karmel, Jamie Oliver and Katy from the Cbeebies "I Can Cook" show to provide a healthy, fun and nutritional menu.
All our meals and snacks are included in our fees and we can cater for any special needs or preferences your child may have.
Everything we prepare is cooked from fresh and we operate an "open kitchen" policy where parents are encouraged to talk to our cook at anytime.
Our Nursery Cook Jenny has many years’ experience of cooking so fully understands what children like and how to disguise "healthy looking things".
Please feel free to talk to Jenny about our weekly menus and recipes.
Emma has been the driving force behind the Nippers Nutrition Programme and believes that it is important to promote healthy eating for all our little ones. She is available for support and advice about all things food related, from recipes to fussy eaters!
