Small Wonders Children’s Day Care Nursery was officially opened on Saturday 18thJune. The Mayor of Newquay, Councillor Andy Hannon cut the ribbon with a little help from Charlotte aged 3 and Lauren aged 2.
After the ceremony the Nursery held their Summer Fete and the children played on the equipment in the large nursery garden.
The Summer Fete was a huge success with a host of children’s activities, barbecue, children’s stalls, face painting, an ice cream stand and a raffle.
The total raised was £245 which is going to the Children’s Hospice South West, and Small Wonders have agreed to match the total and donate £245 to the RNLI.
